CERTIFIED AND/OR NOTARISED TRANSLATION
A certified translation is a translation that has been formally
verified for use as an official document. Please check with your
legal representative which of the following certifications is most
relevant for your purposes before requesting it:
Certified Translation. A qualified (sworn) translator
may translate your document and then sign the translated
document. Any certified translation produced by sworn translator
is an official document in its own right.
Attested Certified Translation. A qualified (sworn)
translator may translate your document. The solicitor/or
other authorised person signs the translation attesting that the
translation is accurate.
Legalisation of translated documents.
A notarized translation is a translation that is signed
and dated by translator presence of Notary Public/Solicitor, usually
require an appostille (stamped) as providing full legalisation of
the documents e.g. contract, power of attorney, certificates of
birth, death and marriage.
The following documents are usually required to be Certified/Notarised:
Diplomas, High School Certificate, Transcripts, Student's Records
etc, Birth Certificates, Marriage Certificate, Divorce Certificate,
Death certificate, Driver license, Naturalization cards and many
others.
